Caring White Men Sharing Together
Hi There!
Ali Darwiche, of Austin Texas, and George Marx, of Chicago, Illinois welcome you to Caring White Men Sharing Together. We hope that you will share this with (other) white men. We care about others and are opposed to our image being angry, scared men such as those who stormed The Capitol on January 6th.
We want to talk and share our stories with other white men who will listen and appreciate us.
The two of us — both share commonalities — and are very different from each other. Ali is a 26-year-old Lebanese-Syrian American, software developer, and musician who spent most of his youth living abroad in Cairo, Egypt. George just turned 70, is Jewish, autistic, retired from paid employment, the grandfather of Hazel, aged three, a serious duplicate bridge (card game) player, a lover of blues, jazz, doowop and oldies music — and much more.
Caring White Men Sharing Together (www.CaringWhiteMen.com or https://www.facebook.com/caringwhitemen) — offers an option for white men — to join each other meeting regularly in a closed zoom group, where we can share who we are, and what matters to us, with each other. We will initially meet on Tuesday, July 13th and gauge the interest for one or more groups to start. Over time we hope to build a movement of many similar, autonomous groups.
Our website and facebook page also list other groups and resources for white men, including specialized and “deep” groups and causes. We are avoiding: commercial enterprises…
